Kirby Smart, Georgia assistant coaches speak out regarding death of George Floyd, protests
Following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis earlier this week, a number of protests have occurred across the country with regard to racism and police brutality. Georgia coach Kirby Smart shared his thoughts on the matter on Saturday afternoon. "I firmly stand against of all kinds," Smart said in a note posted

Please keep the politics off the comments. It’s OUR nation that is hurting and in turmoil.
Every profession has a few rotten to the core bad apples. Whether it be cops, coaches, football players, bicyclist, politicians, lawyers, military leaders, and last but not least news reporters (Brian Williams).
Every police department should have strict rules of conduct, and the bad ones should be weeded out. Same for the other professions.
The other cops who stood by while Mr. Floyd was killed for no reason should also be arrested and charged for at least accessory to murder in the third degree.
Agree about the politics and if goes any further, the commenting section will be closed.
