@AnotherDawg I prefer the cover too. The original has a cool video though.
Based on the songs you post it's clear you pay close attention to lyrics and they speak to you. Most of the music I listen to is instrumental, so it's nice to be exposed to songs with intelligent lyrics. I'm very open minded about music and miss the WinMX days when I could converse with people from all over the world about bands, songs and music.
I've been a Puscifer fan for a while, but only came across this song last year. It was my 2019 SOTY. Great vocals, odd time signatures, killer guitar, masterful bass... this tune has it all going on. I particular like the instrumental at the 3:36 mark.
Here's the new release off the forthcoming Fall album from Puscifer. The song is called 'Apocalyptical'. The ending of the video is funny... classic Maynard. They'll be on tour in 2021.
Love me some Son Volt. Liked Uncle Tupelo as well.
Love Puscifer too. My favorite is "Rev. 22-20"
@Casanova_Flatulence, I ran across that Rick Beato video the other night. Fascinating stuff, wound up putting “Fortress Around Your Heart” on a loop.
Ran across this last night
I was stunned when Chris Cornell committed suicide. Tragic loss of talent from that era of music.
All kind of conspiracy theories around his death that was followed shortly after by the suicide of Chester Benington, the lead singer of Linkin Park. Apparently their wives were good friends & very outspoken about child slavery/trafficking with ties to the Clintons......don't dv me, just reporting what I read
This tune by Eighty Mile Beach is on like Donkey Kong!
I would come out of concert retirement to see this guy!

Newly posted, prob won't be up long. Great audio, even better message..
Heard this asked the other day & what better place to poach it. What's your all time favorite sibling band?
This was my first obvious choice even though Duane died early in their career...other was the Wilson sisters. Fleetwood Mac don't count w marriages & stuff.
Whatcha got??
Can't leave these guys out
Great posts @Savage.
It's so rare to see any live performance tape of Prince. That was cool to watch.
As for the siblings thing, although I wasn't the biggest Beach Boys fan, they definitely come to mind. The original lineup included three Wilson brothers, Brian, Carl, and Dennis. (You mentioned the Wilson sisters, who are Brian's daughters, for those trying to keep up.)
Here's some old footage of a track that Paul McCartney famously called the best song ever written.
