Apparently she was born in Mississippi.
If you want to celebrate Southern pride and heritage, put some fried chicken and biscuits with a glass of sweet tea on a flag and call it a day.
Something something glass houses something something; won't be long until an ultimatum could come from UGA players
So she was- McComb, Mississippi, according to Wikipedia.
This is why we need to watch what happens in Mississippi and take notes.
Well as far as flags go, we fixed ours in 2001. Can’t think of too many overtly discriminatory things in Georgia besides some county names and the flag for Trenton, GA. Then again I never really paid too much attention.
Say it slowly...
Ole. Miss. Rebels.
this should be fun to watch Lane Kiffin navigate...
"Well as far as flags go, we fixed ours in 2001. Then again I never really paid too much attention."
The first and last sentence say it all.

I'm trying to figure out why someone would find this offensive enough to downvote. If you have a different opinion state it and join the discussion.
I find this particular paragraph quite enlightening. It explains to me why our state flag is not being targeted:
And here are the sources cited in the paragraph:
I really want someone to challenge that the confederacy was founded on white supremacy ideology. Its amazing how many people don't know about the cornerstone speech.
It's clear that without the crossed bars, many don't recognize the origin of the GA flag and the statement it's making. Instead of eliminating all pretense of racism with a clean slate design, the state decided to use a lesser known racist symbol. It's like showing up at a KKK rally with a non-pointy hood and telling everyone you're not really a racist.
No talk about the injustice surrounding Native Americans. As one, I have little sympathy for all of you trying to be so PC. Racism is taught, and it goes both ways, so everyone needs to check themselves before they spout off when you know your just as guilty.
