Atlanta Braves Season Thread
Looked for the old Braves thread but looks like it's been shut down. Anyways I don't know if any of you are watching the Braves / Marlins exhibition game tonight or not, but we were down 8-2 in the 8th. Now tied 9-9 in the bottom of the 9th. Been a great game.

I loved Adams in his first stint with the Braves. Not a regular/starter, but definitely a pro. Glad we picked him up.
Totally. He was productive. Not only that, but he's hot Right Now. Season is so short that a hot bat goes a long way.
A little concerned with the velocity on Folty. Only 91/92 with a cement truck slider. Not a surprise that they went back to back to back on that weak sauce.
Folty looked good one inning terrible next last night. If he's a #4 then not too bad, but hope we have 3 above him all year.
Turned that game on in the 8th. Perfect timing. Awesome finish. Mattingly was happy to have that mask to hide behind.

If he can be a solid middle of the order guy, this team can go as far. Just need one more starting pitcher to show solid consistency.

Haven't even played a game yet and we're already a half game up on the defending champs.
I hope we can find another left-handed outfielder to fill Markakis's shoes. After Freddie and somewhat Ozzie, we're really weak from the left side of the plate. Adams helps, but he's not someone who can start everyday at a position.
Losing Hamels for 3/4 of the season hurts too. I know he's not what he used to be, but depth is going to be HUGE this year.
With the expanded playoffs, we should be fine. I would assume a 31-29 season makes the playoffs and I expect us to be a couple wins ahead of that.
