Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Good thing they are revolvers lol
I’m an 07/02 SOT and have several projects going including RPD, M240b/L, and a MG42 that’s nearly complete. If for some horrible reason there is no football I’ll be competing these post sample builds this fall/winter.
Had a chance years ago to use a M240 Bravo on an old abandoned auto. To say it was Impressive doesn't do it justice.
I was gonna say something that probably would have gotten the thread closed......so I won't.
I'm trying to remember what my son was shooting (my nephew's gun).....my son is an incredible marksman....much better than me.....
He was hitting a 2'×2' quarter inch metal plate at 900 yds.
Anyone else had to take their 7 year old to get stitches because a scope kicked back and busted them under the eye.
Thought my wife would be very p.i.s.s.e.d.... she just brushed it off and said part of it......
And my son was right back shooting.....no fear attall.
Getting scope bit is just part of growing up
Agree.....although I managed to escape it.
Is that a KS7?
That’s cool. When you say, “MG42 that’s nearly complete” - What did you start with?
Does “post sample” mean mfg after 1986?
When a Class 2 manufactures a post sample MG, is that transferrable to joe public with a Form 4, or just to another Class 2 holder?
I carry one of the four following pistols, just depends on what I'm wearing, the time of year (Hot or Cold).
Glock 42 (Actually my Wifes)
Glock 43
Glock 19 Gen 3
S&W M&P Shield 9mm
I like Glock because that's what I shoot best, I used to hate them and thought that they were the ugliest gun on the market besides a Hi-Point which i will not ever even hold, let alone buy. But over the past 5-6 years, I realized that I just shoot Glocks very well as far as hitting my target.
Plus, I was very quickly proven wrong. A nanny-stater has joined the thread.
The 2nd only applies to those I agree with, and everyone else wants to take away my guns. Everyone knows that.

The MG42 we have came from a parts kit from Russia. Originally captured by the Soviets. We are rebuilding it with a repair section riveted/welded into the original sections If the receiver. The one we have is a Carl Eickhorn mfg in original 8mm.
No civilian sales at all with post 86 manufactured NFA weapons. Only way you are getting to experience one is either coming by the range with us, being an SOT yourself, military/LE, or dropping $45k on a pre-86 one.
You can transfer to any other SOT with a law letter (official reason for purchase. MIL/LE request) or you If a SOT is going out of business a “no letter” transfer can occur to any other SOT without them needing a law letter. 07/02 SOTs that are manufacturers can simply make their own for testing/demo/sales. A regular FFL dealer without a SOT cannot obtain Post 86 mgs.
You two get a room already!!!! Cute kids
