Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

This is an impossible task......but I know that I could listen to these songs over and over.
1. Clint Black - Nothing's News
2. George Strait - Living for the Night
3. Doug Stone - I'd be better off in a pine box
4. Robert Earl Keen - Gringo Honeymoon
5. Lyle Lovett - Ballad of the snow leopard and the tanqueray cowboy
6. Third Eye Blind - How's it gonna be
7. Fuel - Hemorrhage
8. Ryan Bingham - South side of Heaven
9. Elton John - Tiny Dancer
10. Radio Head - High & Dry
You're definitely a music lover to have such an array of artists on your list.
If there was a rule that none of our choices could be a song that's generally accepted as an all-time great, then I'd wipe my whole list clean and re-fill it with songs by less mainstream artists like the Pixies, Replacements, Wilco, Spoon, etc.
No rules......but I think you'll like my idea for tomorrow......kinda down the same road you're thinking......
Just finished listening to Velouria
I’m kind of a Hüsker Dü guy over the Mats, but “Within Your Reach” was all I listened to summer 2010
Just a closer walk with thee - Avett Bros
Controversy - Prince
El Paso - Marty Robbins
I put the finger on you - ACDC
Amarillo by morning - King George
Juice ( know the ledge) - EricB/ Rakim
Heartbreaker/ Living loving maid - Zeppelin
Hanger 18 - Megadeth
Disposable Heroes - Metallica
Texas Flood - SRV from acl
Cool list.
Mp3 player with headphones?
Cause I’m me, I have a speaker so my partner can enjoy the music. I’m really more of an old country person, but what if “she” doesn’t like country? Hit her in the head with a coconut?
I’m not yet sure of the order
KC and the Sunshine Band - I’m Your Boogie Man (always puts me in a good mood)
Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al
Blues Traveler - Run-Around
Allman Brothers - Midnight Rider
Fleetwood Mac - Gold Dust Woman
Alabama - Mountain Music
Marshall Tucker Band - Heard it in a Love Song
Jane’s Addiction - Three Days
These last two are to help with the romance and coming across as sensitive.
Jason Mraz - I’m Yours
And finally, for the ultimate panty dropper:
Van Morrison - Into the Mystic
I could listen to all of those songs on a stranded island.
1 Bach St. John Passion
2. Mozart Rondo 382
3. Beethoven Silence
4. Simon and Garfunkel Sound of Silence
5. Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Kind of Man
6. John Prine Blue Umbrella
7. Bonnie Raitt/John Lee Hooker in the Mood
8. Neil Young Old Man
9. Allman Brothers Whipping Post
10. Louis Armstrong What a Wonderful World
Definitely a guys list, probably need a couple for the lady of the island.
Simple Man Skynyrd
Simple Man CDB
Turn the Page Bob Seger
Dinosaur Bocephus
Blues Man Bocephus
Sultans of Swing Dire Strait
Troubador King George
Night Moves Bob Seger

@texdawg thanks for this , it's a pretty neat idea. Nothing brings a frazzled "will there be a season" Dawg Nation together better than music. Well until toe meets leather!
I absolutely love blues man and Troubadour
Love John Prine
Yes sir......I love music.....all types. And I especially enjoy learning what others are into.
Are we ready for Survey #3?
I haven’t thought of Camper Van Beethoven in many many years. I can’t even remember where I saw them play, but it was in 1990 when they had a female violinist. What still stands out most to me was the fact she had some of the hairiest legs in the place. Great show.
Love the list. Not sure that I could do just ten. I would get mad at myself for leaving X or Y off the list. I love Van Morrison - one of my faves. Your comment 'panty dropper' just made me think of Marvin Gaye's Let's Get it On.
