And played Jackie Robinson and James Brown. Guy had a career like John Cazale.
Supposedly passed on what's recognized as Jackie Robinson day as well as the birthday of the creator of Black Panther. Beautiful symmetry if true
This man demonstrated exceptional strength and perseverance. I’m in awe of how he handled his struggle.

As someone who has battled cc for the last 3 years I know what this man went thru and his story is truly remarkable. Hope other patients will be inspired by it and stay positive. May he rest in peace.
Ironically watched 42 last night- son was wanting to watch it again when seeing the baseball players wearing 42 yesterday. Will truly miss him as an actor as I was impressed with each of his portrayals of Jackie Robinson and the Black Panther.
Loved Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther. That’s the only role I’ve seen him in, and he was excellent. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted in their grief.
