Can’t go wrong. I’ll probably have the Weller 12 or some Redbreast 15 tomorrow, but then I don’t have the Michter’s Small Batch to choose from.
Woodford is my go too bourbon, I never thought I would like rye whiskey but a few years ado we were in Park City and High West has a ski-in ski-out distillery ( that's an accident waiting to happen) so we got a flight of ryes to try and I must say I was very impressed and keep a couple of bottles around. I've have noticed since then, a few of the bars in Athens keep a good stock of High West. I was curious on you all's opinion of rye/High West.
Haven’t had it yet...but always willing to try a new bourbon!
@Cid23341 - Agree mightily, High West Double Rye is the value bomb!
I'll vote Eagle Rare. Had it a couple of weeks ago and was throughly impressed. (Picture was good too)
Just thought I'd give my fellow Dawgs a heads up on an Atlanta Liquor Stores Lottery for some exceptional Bourbons. Although just about everyone at Tower knows me by name (a dubious honor at best) I am in no way affiliated with them other than being a long time customer.
I am signed up for their emails so you'll probably have to go through the web site to log in.
Celebration bottle for my newest family member
I'm a fan of Redbreast, but have not had the 15 year old. Have you tried it and if so, what are your thoughts?
For any of y’all North of Atlanta Holmes liquor in Rocky Face always has a good selection of liquors. Picked up some Four Roses there today.
I really like the FR single barrel
Honestly, the difference between the 12 and the 15 yr old probably doesn’t justify the cost. Like you would expect-smoother version of the 12. Same complexity-vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup, fruity.
Sipped on it for a little bit last night. Good flavor and very smooth
For anyone in or near Smyrna
My guy at Costco took care of me!
Your Costco is way better than mine lol. I've never seen any of those three there
