Quit wasting plays on Matt.
This is what happens when you refuse to give the kids game reps.
Even with Mathis in...our QB performance is so weak and at Division 2 level. Mathis is too green and scared. Maybe in a couple years. Next year won’t be much better even with Vandagriff. So disappointing CKA let us get into this position. Will take several years to dig out of this hole unfortunately.

Smart has really screwed this team up with his QB decision making. They are awful. A forward pass consists of heaving it up like a prayer. Why so many passes to Landers? He can't catch anything? UGA could have still won this game if they could only do what most average college teams are able to do...move the ball downfield. Mathis looks scared. Bennett, baller that he is, has limited skills. So why have a 5 star QB doing nothing on the bench?
Good luck justifying that after riding with 13’s sorry season.

Well, the good is Dwan will get to play and develop. And after this Kirby better be hell-bent on making us a passing threat because the cat is out of the bag and the bag is ripped open. 40 plus, fix this mess coach.
What an embarrassment. This BS is all on Kirby. When he said 2 years ago "we aren't going anywhere", I had no idea he meant it literally. He's in over his head and stuck in the past. This was a winnable game with a serviceable QB, despite all the injuries. Kirby played this about as bad as a coach could. This one ranks up there with the Faton Bauta debacle by Richt.
Either learn the players names or get out of the conversation.
How long does UGA give Kirby? His seat is warming up, so I would say another 7-8 years should do it.

Our O is horrible...but no team will win allowing 500+ yards passing. Both the O and D need work. Kirby has let this program really regress.
