I received my shot yesterday . The Pfizer vaccine. So far no big issues. My arm is very very sore, otherwise I’m good. Anybody else had their vaccine yet?

Being active duty Military, we are not in the top tier, but probably somewhere in the middle of the line., primarily due to the young nature of our business and the fact that young folks typically respond with fewer complications from the virus than others. That being said, as soon as it is offered, I will be in line.
Whatever I have to do to help things get back to a "normal" whatever that may mean, I am all in.
I hope your arm feels better soon. I had heard the same on the first shot (sore arm), but that the second shot will likely cause some low fever, aches for a day or so. Having recently had the new shingle vaccination (Shingrix), I can attest to it knocking me on my butt. I was down for about a day after the second shot of that. First one, sore arm. Second one, death for 18 hours. lol

I'm a physician and should have gotten it last week but I didn't get a chance.
I'm getting Moderna but prefer Pfizer.
Moderna is a 100mg dose and Pfizer 30mg.
Efficacy is essentially identical, so I'd prefer equal efficacy with the smaller dose.
I expect a sore arm, but that's about it.
COVID-19 is all around me; I have not had it.
I do not think the public truly understands how impressive this is, and that's okay.
...might as well go ahead and add that anyone who hasn't gotten a flu shot needs to do it.

Received mine last week - all good along with a great feeling of relief to not have to worry about it.
I'm at the very bottom of the priority list but I'll probably be required to get for my trip to Japan next September

Really appreciate all of you who serve in the Military and work on the pandemic front lines. You, the elderly, and other susceptible groups should be first in line and deservingly so.
Myself, feeling 90% sure I had Covid in early March, although not being tested (test were not even available at the time), feel that I'm going to step to the end of the line so to speak, and let those that I feel really need to get it the most be the first, second and third shots at it in line before me.....and yes, pun intended.

So if me and my whole family has already had covid, do we need a vaccine? My oldest wants to get one but she's already beat it. Idk🤷
All scientific evidence out there says you can get it again. Many examples of people getting it more than once. Within three months of when you had it is when you can’t get that strain again. But after that, yes. Sounds like there’re at least three strains now, some more transmissible then others and all evidence is, so far, that the vaccine works on all. So yes… Get that vaccine even if you’ve already had Covid.

I'm a nurse and because I just started at a new hospital....I'm getting mine the first day I have benefits!! Jan 1st. I can't WAIT
