Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I believe in second chances but I believe more in actions. I live by "words are manufactured but action is truth" you can say what you want but your your actions will define you. Now with that said, I do not know Derion so I have no clue as to his history other than what is said here. So I'll yield to Kirby and the administration to determine whether UGA is the place for him to get that 2nd chance.

My concern is who in house is reading the writing on the wall and about to enter the portal. Is this move going to be worthy and concrete enough to risk losing one or two of the guys we already have. Is this a starter issue or depth issue. You know Kirby likes them deep and plays a lot of guys. Can we keep them happy. We have talent and you need lots of it but you also can overload and lose some important pieces. I'm gonna trust Kirby to make the right decision and I'll remain a supporting fan!
