ATHENS — Alabama transfer Brandon Turnage is back in the transfer portal, according to a source with direct information on the matter.

To be clear, was Turnage enrolled and then quit? If so, does that mean he burned his one free transfer?
I understand. He transferred here expecting to compete for a starting job but everyone kept saying he was for depth and we brought in another corner so he realized he wasn't gonna start. Good luck to him.

Would rather Turnage leave than 1 of the recruited young players on the roster.
