I'll try my hand at only starting non-Georgia football threads, maybe that will shake the pests.

This makes 7 wins in his last 9 starts on road courses, and he's just 25 years old. It took Jimmy Johnson till he was 28 to get to where he could even stay on these tracks. Elliott had never run Road America till today. He took 2 stages figuring out the course, then he dominated the final stage. He also overcame a penalty that sent him back near the end of the pack.

CAREER WINS ON ROAD COURSES.

  1. Jeff Gordon - 9
  2. . Tony Stewart - 8
  3. Chase Elliott - 7

This kid will own every RC record before he turns 30, probably before he turns 27.
