I had my concerns with Coach Scott early on when he was hired as defensive line coach. His recruiting abilities did not seem to be at a level we needed to attract top notch linemen. I have since become a huge Tray Scott fan. I always loved his high energy and how he went about coaching young men. Now, it seems he has really stepped up his recruiting and been bringing in some top notch linemen. I’m glad to see his contract has been extended. Go Dawgs!

"The Bulldogs led the nation in rushing defense last season and finished 12th in scoring defensive (second in the SEC), 16th in scoring defense (second in the SEC) and 56th in pass efficiency defense (fourth in the SEC) last season.

Lanning, who coaches the outside linebackers, helped develop 2019 Freshman All-American Azeez Ojulari, who is projected by some to be a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft."

I usually try to refrain from commenting on the sloppiness in these articles, being a free site and all. But man, this is bad.

KhunKhaoDawg, Lanning was not responsible for Azeez Ojulari's drop in the draft, he should have been a first round draft pick, the teams drafting Azeez's used his size and a old injury, and that's why he fell in the draft, nothing to do with Lanning's coaching.

Pretty sure he was referring to the obvious copy/paste job in the article, mentioning Ojulari as being "projected" as a first round pick in a draft that came and went months ago.

Isn't Scott Fountain still on the staff? He wasn't listed under 2021.
