Sounds like it will be a great day all the way around! I’m not by any means a master griller, that technique seems sound to me. Boston butt is great anyway I’ve ever had it. I’m sure it will be great, you guys enjoy, Go Dawgs!!!
We have a 98 yr old piano player at our church and she could have knocked it out in any old west saloon.
She is something else, only plays now on special occasions.

My wife made some pomegranate jelly. She baked some salmon the other night and put some of the jelly on it when it was almost cooked. Oh my gosh! She has over 20 different types of jellies and preserves she puts up. One of them is called cowboy candy. It is sliced jalapenos with sugar and other things added. Hot as all get out! Put it on a cracker with some cream cheese. She makes the old fashioned lime cucumber pickles. They are sweet and crunchy. Would be good with some of that big old butt grilled. Make a barbecue sandwich and add a slice of the pickles on top. 😍
