Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I, too, was born in Carrollton, GA. Was a Monticello Hurricane for most of my young life. The upstate of SC is home now - has been for a while.
Born and grew up in Texas. Lived in Atlanta most of my "adult" life (Son is a UGA grad). Have lived in Nicaragua for the last 10 years.
Georgia born and bred. Love my Dawgs. Every time I say Georgia Tech, I spit afterward. To get that awful taste out of my mouth.

One of the best lunch places in Carrollton, back around then.
I was born in Oakland, CA (initial Raider fan when they played at a junior high football field). Came to the South when I was in the Army (stationed in Fr. Campbell, JY and William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX. Taught/coached at U of W. GA in Carrolton for 25 years and coached 6 additional years at the U of W. AL in Livingston, AL. Retired and currently reside in McIntosh, FL - about 20 miles from the home of the Gaturds....only UGA fan in sight that I know of. Always get invited to watch UF games with neighbors. Will enjoy it immensely next Saturday.
Living now in Northern Virginia which, sadly, has no real connection to the south. I did most of my growing up in Fayette County, then lived all over the country working for the Forest Service.
You ever meet Forestry Dawg ?
My wife currently teaches the Lil Canes at Jasper County Primary. We live right up Hwy 11 in Mansfield.

They were my favorites back in the day, along with Buddy Colt. Took my kids to watch filming at the old sports arena. Behind the old Sears on ponce de leon. Saw some great concerts there circa 1969-1970. Tickets were in $2.50- $3.50 range.
The Assassins.
As they should be, of course!
Hit’em straight! Fairways and Greens!
