Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

The late Terry Fair of S.W. Macon fame was also a big name from that era and helped Georgia reach the final 4 in 1983 where they were undone by a scorching hot N.C. State team that went on to upset Houston to win the National Championship that year. Ah, the memories.
pretty much all of the big booster money goes to another sport.
You’ve got to go hire the best recruiter out there. Coaching is secondary to recruiting Especially in basketball when you may only have players 1-2 years at most. We should be signing 2-3 top 10s from state each and every year. You do that and you will have a very competitive team. This team this year is not going to be good at all and might be the end for Crean. If it is you’ve got to get a Big Time recruiter first
Time to bring Jonas home.
We need to do something. One of my former basketball players plays at Georgia. He told me that Crean's practices are highly crazy...and not in a good way. The 2.5 hour practice includes lots of standing around and doing nothing. no real purpose or intensity at all. They get maybe one good hour in. They hardly ever get a practice plan. I have not seen this personally, but I have no reason to believe that he is lying.
It’s coaching. Rick Pitino and Iona just beat #10 Alabama. Iona! We haven’t sniffed beating a top SEC school in years. SMH.
