Why couldn't Stet and the offense score enough points Saturday to beat Bama? He doesn't have the skills. Stet is the leader, but he couldn't get it done and this isn't the first time he's gotten smoked against Bama. We couldn't convert on multiple 3rd and 4th downs late in the game. Why have we always struggled on 3rd down completions this season? We were 3/12 on 3rd downs Saturday.

You can't convince me that Stetson Bennett can win a game against the better opponents. He has never beaten a really good team.

Who was our QB when we beat Cincinnati and Clemson? JT Daniels. Those two teams are the two best teams we've played and WON during the last 2 seasons.

I'm not convinced that Daniels can be good enough to win a Natty, but I'm convinced he gives us a better chance after I saw Stet's performance Saturday. QB is King in college football today. Can either guy bring home the trophy?

As I said in another blog, if you base Stetson’s “skill set” on the game Saturday then you must also agree that Tua, Justin and Trevor lack the skill sets to win since they all performed worse than Stetson in their playoff losses over the past 3 years. Fact, total fact.

@BubbaBill...and as I said in response to your post on the other article...

I stand by my belief. You're basing your argument on statistics of one game. Those QBs you mention were good enough to win National Championships at some point in their college career and also a couple won the Heisman trophies. Are you trying to compare Stet with any of them? That's absurd!!

Mac Jones didn't win the Heisman last year, but he scorched the Dawgs last season, and he led Bama to the Title. Stetson got demolished in the Bama game last season.

2019 - Heisman winner Joe Burrows lights up the Dawgs and LSU destroyed us. LSU goes on to win the Natty.

Do you think Stet is better than either of those QBs? He's not even on the same level.

    Your argument is silly.

OK, OK…..you are obsessed with a QB who lost his job and transferred due to being beaten out by the #705 ranked recruit in the Country (Kedon Slovis) who led USC to a 4-8 record and is now ranked #80 among active college QBs (FYI….Stetson is #4). You have full confidence in a QB who has been injured all year and could only score 3 points against the #19 team in America. I get it…..you clearly want to get annihilated in our next playoff game.

@BubbaBill...I never said JT Daniels was our savior or good enough to win a Natty. But, I do believe he gives us a better chance (assuming he gets playing time and isn't still injured). But bottom line is we won against Cincy and Clemson with JT at the helm. Bama sophomore Bryce Young lost against A&M, but he picked apart the Dawgs and is light years better at QB than Stetson. That's a fact.

I'll gladly eat my words and admit I was wrong if we win with Stet. Gladly.

@MontanaDawg it is good that you have moved on from being so overly concerned about Beck’s psyche.

Have you ever considered that Alabama might have been the better team in those two games.

Having said that I too hope Daniels gets his opportunity.

@UGADad20 Riley and Day have been pretty successful Then again they had to match up Alabama and Saban with the results being similar to Kirby’s. Kirby might get another opportunity and very well be successful.

Nope, no man crush so don’t be jealous. I just post facts and everything was a fact in the post you are criticizing. I notice you didn’t disagree with a word I said, just started slinging childish insults which begs the question…. Do you ever post when you’re sober?
