The young man made a business decision for his future .. he’s a wr 27-30 passes a year ain’t gonna get him to where he wants to go .. that’s not Kirby coaching style .. he ground and pound and defense.. I’m actually very surprised we are getting the Pickens and Mitchell’s

Pickens was a last 2nd flip, he never gave(that I remember) a concise answer as to why he chose UGA last second. Mitchell and McConky have played above their HS rankings.

SB averages 19 throws per game and Young 39. Thats 20 more throws per game . Needless to say if you are a wideout and want more targets then you have to go to where they put it up more. Simple math.

What an absurd assumption about what it takes to achieve an NFL career.

Long post, very logical, even though I don't agree with all of it. That said, the most entertaining part was "JT Bennett" at the end... I realize that was a misfire, but honestly, if this JT Bennett guy exists and is available, CKS should do whatever (esp. NIL) is required to get him. He'd cause DawgNation board traffic to drop 50% on the QB topic (... or would he?)! 🤣🤣🤣

Pickens is about to change that. Burton would have likely been next. Kirby has only been here 6 years so his recruits are just starting to hit the NFL in the last year or so. Mitchell looks to be another one in a couple years.

Stetson actually averaged 20.5 but Georgia averaged 27.1 and Young was actually at 36.4 but still a huge difference. Young did throw for 2010 more total yards than Bennett but Bennett averaged 10 yards per attempt to Youngs 8.9. Young also had 47 TD passes to Bennetts 29 but Bennett still had the higher QBR by right at 10 points.

hurl_m your lack of football knowledge is as obvious as your agenda. First: Mecole Hardman. Very good NFL wr from CKS program. Second: Brian Kelly needs guys that can recruit the southeast to be successful at LSU. Enter excellent recruiter CHankton. UGA plays A LOT of players at most positions. They don't rack up stat's but they sure do win a lot. And get developed for the NFL w/o excessive wear and tear at the college level.. Watch how many guys get drafted this year. As for recruiting from the TP, ANY TP QB would be very smart to take a long look at UGA. 5* OL stacked like cordwood. A very deep RB room of blue chip players. Best TE in the country and multiple productive and highly rated wr's. UGA is a QB's dream come true.
