Was at florida before this. Only read that he and his family wanted out of fu because it had gotten really toxic and started affecting his kids. Don't know much else about him as a coach

I have an honest question for y'all regarding Hayes as a coach. Why do so many of y'all think that he is going to come in and save UGA basketball? Is it because we know who he is? I hear lots of people say that he can recruit GA. He has gotten some kids to go up there. Is it because he played at UGA?
I am in no way saying that he would not make a great head coach, but I am not sure as to why some feel that he is the only person that we should have even interviewed.

He can’t be any worse than Tom Crean was.
I suspect it is because he is a good recruiter, especially in GA and because he is a former Dawg player. At least, that is why was an attractive candidate to me.

I’ve changed my mind. Who cares what Gator fans think? They tried to tell us Mullen was a better coach/recruiter than Kirby less than a year ago.
Plus we have to be good before we can be great. Without the unrealistic expectations perhaps Mike White can thrive in Athens.

Far from filling out a roster, this is a really good step in the right direction.
CMW was always pretty good at getting transfers into the program while he was at UF.
