The idea that Georgia -Auburn needs to be protected is false. At best you will see one rivalry game and then a rotating schedule.

The 25 class limit has been worked around for years. Teams were able to "backfill" previous recruit classes with (some) mid year, early entry freshman. The real impact of this is the expected increase in "forced attrition" to the TP IF an AL or UGA or Ohio St can score big in a particular recruiting class.

It is only a 2 year exception until the effects of the TP portal can be better understood. Changes are coming to the TP to establish more order for better roster management.

There is a balance needed in taking full recruiting classes and always hovering at or over 85. UGA's hands were tied this season because of the 85 number. While AL/Saban added 5 starting players, via TP, because they had 85 room.

Not sure how the SEC goes division-less and takes the 2 best records to the SECCG without equal schedules for all teams. Can have relatively equal schedules per division to better support a fair SECCG format.
