Kirby Smart replaces elite with elite and up and coming to be elite. It is a good mix of chemistry and a superior recruiting force. Thank you, Coach Muschamp, happy you're a DGD. 😎

We’re blessed to have coach Muschamp. Being a Dawg himself, you know he’s going to give it his all to help our guys become the best they can be. Dude’s one of the best defensive coaches in all of football. Hope he never leaves us.

Love having these DGDs on our coaching staff.

    GO DAWGS!

I'm sure Coach Muschamp is having the time of his life. Money in the bank=security. Then you get to coach at your alma mater with your best buddies and the finest collection of talent in the land. Perfect scenario. And he's got a cool ring from last year. And his own son is there. I could go on, but we all get the idea. Glad he's with UGA. Kirby was the right guy, at the right time.

Don't write off Coach Muschamp so fast. Another year in the UGA system with another stellar year of defensive results will open doors to another Power 5 HC opportunity if he chooses to take it. Will probably stay at UGA as long as his son is on the team. After that I see him taking another HC job and trying to work his way up to the pinnacle again.

CKS following in Saban's footprints by giving coaches a quality working outlet to work their way back into another opportunity.
