Every other year Jacksonville can have it. I like the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party setting, but it's time to alternate. It will help make the recruiting burden even and take some of the pressure off our coaching staff. Athens would rock, we can still split the fans at each location or just Atlanta-Jacksonville every other year.😎

It's an advantage to FL because it's a short drive to Gainesville Recruits can go to the game and drive to Gainesville either before or after for a day or two on the campus. If it's an official Florida can pick up the tab just can't visit with them at the game. Athens deserves the millions the game brings to town and DAWGS need to show off the city as well as facilities

Been going for years and that place is a dump . They open a section the Jaguars keep closed so they can call it a sell out for NFL TV and stick people that I know have good seats in Sanford at the top of that dump. The surrounding area is a joke and the novelty of having the game in Jacksonville has well worn off . Florida has laughed at UGA for failing for that ruse years ago. Two of the top teams whose players will never get the experience of playing in each other’s stadiums which are both great game day experiences . Its time to move it to home and home and by all means keep it out of Atlanta and give the season ticket holders something to look forward to . Hopefully the current administration will end the agreement but weall know money gets things done .

The time for half measures and half- reporting is over. Either it's home-and-home or neutral site. No in-between BS.

Why does AJC keep reporting on financial impact to Jacksonville, without referencing impact studies identifying financial gain to various Coastal Georgia Counties?

Because they are engaged in typical fake news tactics. They want the game to be home-and-home, so, to ensure "that" gets the most support, they suppress opposition research that would support continuing the neutral site game.

NOTE TO DAWG NATION: Give us both sides of the issue and allow us to make our minds up...based on all of the facts.

What is the financial impact to Chatham County, Liberty County, McIntosh County, Glynn County (including the Golden Isles), Camden County, and surrounding Counties?

How will the tourist trade along the Georgia Coast be negatively impacted?

Will recruiting in South Georgia and Northeast Florida be negatively effected?

How were players like Derrick Henry (Yulee Fl) and Bryce Ramsey (Camden Co), Champ Bailey (Charleton Co), Nolan Smith (Chatham Co), Richard LeCounte (Liberty Co) effected by the game being played in JAX? How do they feel about moving the game to home-and-home?

How bout some substantial interviews with people that may or may not agree with you.

Let's look at the issue logically, but, not completely devoid of emotion. Since "Fandom is based in part on emotion, and is the life-blood of College Football, you can't completly separate the two.

Do an actual "Story" on the rivalry and the game played in the Gator Bowl. Thanks for the input opportunity.

    A. It's an hour and a half flight from JAX to ATHENS. We live in the "space age", not the "bus age" and UGA has numerous private jets and helps. Smart uses one to recruit-hop. Not that big a deal.

    B. Moving the game to home-and-home doesn't mean that Gainesville and Athens will enjoy the same popularity, publicity or economic impact that the Gator Bowl enjoyed. I know a lot of Corporations that bought blocks of tickets and hotel rooms on St Simon's Island Ga., to entertain clients and employees because of the game's novelty...not because of the teams' records. That won't happen with a home-and-home. It will be just another SEC game, if not immediately...then in a very short period of time. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. SEC games are the real deal. GAvsFL just won't be "unique", anymore. It hasn't been properly packaged and advertised in quite a while, anyway...so, maybe it's time to put it to bed.

I'd like to know what former Bulldogs from Southeast GA. think about it.

Forget Jacksonville & Atlanta & get this game on the campuses where it belongs. The Iron & Egg Bowls both went thru similar arguments before leaving Birmingham & Jackson & those games are far better since the move. The students, fans, athletes & cities deserve to have this game played on two of the most beautiful campuses & best college football atmospheres in the country. Jacksonville does not come close to a beautiful fall day in Athens.

"The Iron Bowl" and "The Egg Bowl" are not the same as, "The Red River Rivalry" and "The Clash at the Border"....or better known as, "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" (GA-FL game).

The first 2 are in-State rivalry games like UGA vs GT, between AUB and BAMA....MISS and MISS ST.

The Clash at the Border is an iconic game played between Florida and Georgia in a fun Border City.

The Red River Rivalry is a longstanding Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas in Austin Texas...another fun City not far from the Texas-Oklahoma border.

Not the same thing. Apples and oranges. LOL

I don't like the Athens, Gainesville, Jacksonville rotation. Maybe Athens and Jacksonville rotation. No to Atlanta/Jacksonville too. It's coming, to home and home rotation, I hope. They could do a Jacksonville game every 5 yrs or so for the hype and novelty. That would work if Jacksonville paid UGA more and treated UGA fans better.
