Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

GO BRAVES!!!
Max was obtained in a trade. So was Charlie Morton, although he did start out with Bravos. Olson obtained in a trade. Ozuna in a trade. Dansby in a trade. Adam Duval in a trade. Eddie Rosario in a trade. As well as others.
👀
I remember the sunday afternoon Tony Cloniger (top cat) hit 2 grand slams. I believe Milo called game on radio.
Boy, now that takes me back! Only pitcher to ever do that and only two grand slams he ever hit in his career.
Yeah, he was the Braves announcer , paired with Ernie Johnson, Sr. back in the day , who also called Henry Aaron’s 715th home run. He finished his career with the Houston Astros.
July 3 1966, I was 16, had the world by the tail, I thought.
Lol
Well, I guess the fellas are just going to strand everyone on base tonight. Mets lost. Need to get another run on the board.
Yeah, blew a good chance last night to gain some ground.
Only the second three game losing streak this year.
Not very timely…..
We've hit the inevitable "rough patch". Hope to come out of it soon. Got to be playing good at the end of the year.
Pulled out the win tonight to stop 3 game losing streak
Jansen making me nervous, seems like he is giving up runs every time he comes in, but I know that can't be the case.
Grissum has cooled down as expected, but Harris is maintaining his steady production.
I had posted a while back that it might be too soon to nominate Grissom for the HOF. Still a good player who might end up better than good.
Jansen doesn't have many "clean" innings, I don't think. Seems he often gives up a walk or a hit, Yet, he does get a lot of saves Not sure which factoid to give the most weight to.
Strider had an alright night...
By the way 16 Ks is a single game record for Atlanta.
All 16.
GO BRAVES!!!
And the funny part is that he would not have had the opportunity to break Smoltz's record of 15 (unless they brought him out in the 9th) except for Matt Olson committing the error at first in the eighth. So one out after the error and Striker proceeded to strike the next TWO batters out to reach 16 strikeouts!!
And still throwing at 100 mph!
Unbelievable!
The amount of rookies, and/or very, very young players within the Atlanta Braves organization is soooo very exciting!!! Last time I felt this way?, pretty far back into the early 1990s with Bobby Cox, and then Avery, Smoltz, Glavine, Maddox, McGriff, Justice, Gant, Belliard, Pendleton, Lopez etc, etc....
GO BRAVES!!!!
Another blown save. What is up with the Bravos;' bullpen. Jansen has been ineffective lately.
I wonder why...
Nervermind.
