- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Honestly I was so happy he came out and did what he did. If it was a run heavy game with Stetson missing some passes the engines would be firing again on some sort of QB controversy.
Yeah at least we can enjoy the season now
With St. Yale on the Bennett train… what will we argue about? 😳
Lol I’ve thought for a while he should be the starter. I just argue about how good he actually is and his pro prospects
GO STET!!!
GO DAWGS!!!
What is Stet's record as a starter?
16-3, I think.
3-2 in 2020, 12-1 in 21, 1-0, in 22.
And 2 of those losses came against the #1 team, Bama. The other was against fla in which we were leading 14-0 till he got hurt and left the game in the 2nd quarter.
@Joe31 Although the Samford Bulldogs are a small FCS program, they are a pass happy offense. My understanding is that come game time tomorrow?, it’s supposed to be rainy like crazy in Athens. Rain games aren’t typically that environment best suited to passing the football for anyone. If the forecast is true?, I expect to see a whole lot of running the football in order to just get this game over with and into the record books to get everyone out of the rain as quickly as is possible. GO DAWGS!!!
Yeah I’m hearing so much rain that a water polo game may break out. I bet Stetson is a good swimmer too. So dawgs will roll. I do hate a wet field and the potential For injury slipping and sliding!
@Dawgwired lets all just hope for zero injuries across the entire roster in a huge blowout Georgia win!!!
GO DAWGS!!!
@Dawgwired a tidbit of interesting?, both HC Kirby Smart, and co DC Will Muschamp (actually Muschamp coached elsewhere - Auburn first) , got their coaching careers stimulated under Samford Head Coach Chris Hatcher back during his being the Head Coach at Valdosta State.
Oh Yes, I remember the hatch attack days. Hatch should’ve never gone to ga southern. To me That was a career killer. The alumni hated every minute of him trying to change their option offense. Also Seems like I remember reading that Smart was a last minute hire too at VSu.
When I was at West Georgia, we would always chuckle and say "Hatch, will figure out a way to mess up". His teams were great but we had good success against him. One time, in a close game, we scored and made the game close. On the kickoff, they tried to pass the ball almost across the entire field. It was dropped/fumble and we recovered and went on to win. He was very creative and somewhat reckless. Fortunately, for Dawg fans, won't have to wait for him to mess up, in order to win.
