Simply one of the best coaches in the country
Mark Stoops is simply one of the very best coaches in college football.
What he has done with that KY program is simply amazing.

I thought this was going to be about Kirby...
I did too , however I think its true for both !
Don’t we already know Kirby is one of the best coaches in college football?
And he pulled last night off without Rodriquez!! I was amazed.
And to think he almost wasn’t given enough time to build their program. He should be the case for allowing new coaches time. He’s made Kentucky a team to reckon with
Agreed @texdawg . Curious if you still feel the same about Napier? I know sample size is small, but he has made some questionable calls so far, and maybe placed some unrealistic expectations on AR. Nothing that isn't fixable of course, but he isn't new to head coaching either.
I still believe Napier was a great hire and LSU screwed up letting him go.
Kentucky is simply better that Fl.
But time will tell.
The last two FL coaches were goof balls. Napier is certainly not a goof ball.
I still believe in the Coach Napier hire.
He is playing in the SEC and he has an FCS roster of players! There are a few studs, Miller for one, but he needs time to rebuild the roster and keep shoveling the past 3 coaches manure out the back door! Aside from the lack of players, there is mentality change that needs to be done. My example would be Brenton Cox, he plays and is a known name for the Gaiturds, but he definitely does not fit what Coach Napier is trying to build. Can't let the player go, they are tissue paper thin on defense and need bodies that can at least play! Desmond Watson is getting significant playing time and has 1 solo tackle and 1 assist in 2 games! 6'5" and roughly 492 poinds!
He needs at least 3 years to rebuild and get back to prominence. I am not sure he will be given the time!
Great points.
Kirby was a great hire and he struggled in year one.
I believe Napier will do a good job at Florida…but I’m hoping he won’t.
I’m not going to toe tag Napier after two games, but I just wonder if the fanbase will give him enough time to turn everything around.
Fan bases at certain schools will never give a coach time.
It seems the FU admin may be finally supporting the program.
I wish there were more Mark Stoop in College Football! He makes the game and the players better! But it took his first 3 years to clean it up another 3 to rebuild the mentality, and then forgetting 2020, 2 - 10 win season and wildly improved recruiting, he has 5 possible All-SEC candidates on this years team! And he did this at a basketball school!
Could Mark Stoops possibly be the next TAMU head coach.
If he is patient he may be.
Aggies won’t do anything this year unless it’s a disaster. And it likely won’t be.
But after the 23’ season…. patients may be over with Jimbo.
Very Very likely scenario! I would put the odds at 7-3!
Jimbo is a very good coach, but he has proven one thing! He is really good, until he exceeds the 4th year! Everywhere he has gone! At FSU, he was handed a competive team, with some issues, but he dealt with it and won an NC!
i can't explain why he doesn't have an elite QB playing for him today!
Its the coaching or lack there of, he got out coached by App State!!
enuff said, fix it and start winning games or they will boot him!
Probably not. They were convinced last year that they were still a better program than Georgia and that AR was/is the difference maker.
