Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

The thing that impresses me most about our 2018 recruiting...

Early on it looked like a near impossible task to put together a great class for 2018. Most of the elite players in Georgia were already either committed elsewhere or didn't have UGA or near the top of their list.

Justin Fields - committed elsewhere.
Brenton Cox - committed elsewhere.
Cade Mays - committed elsewhere
James Cook - committed elsewhere
Adam Anderson - backed off, then recommitted.
Channing Tindall - wasn't favoring us till late.
Nadab Joseph - wasn't favoring us till late.
Luke Ford - wasn't favoring us till late.

What is clear is this staff with Kirby at the helm won't give up and they are as persuasive as any staff out there.

Thoughts ?

Winning cures all. Seeing those big early wins at Notre Dame and vs. Miss St were monumental

Even trey hill surprised me, it seemed as soon as he committed the rest of the chips fell

Gonna need a repeat in 2019 for a good running back and good quarterback. Right now they are all looking at somewhere other than UGA. At least it seems that way. Looks like the plan is coming together. Let the other teams think they have a chance then swoop in take their top players and slap them in the back of the head for looking at you.

We can afford an off year in recruiting RBs, not that we don't need at least 1 elite back, but we'd be ok if we ended up skipping a year though.
Of course we're in need of the good 3rd QB, not necessarily Fields' successor, but a good QB.
