ATLANTA — It didn’t take long for Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin to get crossways with new Auburn coach Hugh Freeze.

I wouldn't say my opinion of Auburn was favorable to begin with... but have they completely lost their minds, or just their moral compass? Just makes you that much prouder to be UGA. Go Dawgs!
I reckon Auburn overlooks the dark side of Freeze to his brighter football accomplishments. A move we can only wait and see how it pans out. Auburn surely is no stranger to controversy in recent years. Just poured a bit more fuel on that fire...IMO.
Auburn hired Bruce Pearl who is as dirty as they come. Freeze is just the other dirty bookend. Auburn will always be Auburn.
I think it is obvious Kiffin is holding out for the Bama job. Saban can’t coach forever and Kiffin knew that accepting the Auburn job would kill any possibility of ever being the HC for the Tide.

Sometimes people recognize their mistakes and actually change. I hope Freeze is one of those people.
But taking a shot at Ole Miss is another example Freeze showing something less than being humble. He could've simply said "Auburn is a top-10 program" and stuck with promoting his new program. Taking a shot at Ole Miss was totally unnecessary. That seems like something that Urban Meyer would do. That zebra has never changed his stripes, time will show if Freeze really has. So far, I just don't get that impression.
Had to smile....popular thought....Kiffin is holding out for the Bama job....Kiffin had better get his head out of posterior and focus on recruiting or he'll be beggin for a coaching gig in Division III.
It'd be one thing if there was any evidence of Freeze changing. But it's the opposite.
For one thing, redemption requires taking responsibility for one's past behavior. Aside from 33 MONTHS of calling escort services while loudly proclaiming himself a great Christian, Freeze has never taken responsibility for getting Ole Miss on probation. To this day, he even boasts about what a great coach he was there --- even though he caused them to VACATE EVERY WIN DURING HIS TENURE!
For another, look at his behavior at Liberty. And what about Liberty? Talk about a morally corrupt program! Not only did they hire disgraced coach Freeze, but they hired the disgraced AD who oversaw sexual-assault mess at Baylor. At a Christian school! Then, Freeze bullies one of TWELVE women who made credible complaints about the athletic department ... wait for it ... covering up sexual assaults! Then, Freeze compares that guy to Jesus! Then, Freeze gets another raise and contract extension!
Then, Auburn hires Freeze. What could go wrong?
Auburn has an incredible football heritage and fan base. But that school and its boosters are their football program's own worst enemy. I hope this blows up in their face again and again and again.
I'm confused. Weren't at least some Auburn boosters expressing concerns that Bryan Harsin was engaged in some inappropriate "extracurricular" activities?
All I know is, and forget that Kirby is in Athens for a moment, UGA would never, ever hire Hugh Freeze as its football coach. AU obviously would, Bama would. UF would. UT would. UGA never would.
