Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Get the Antique if you can, it's much better in my opinion. Others would disagree though. I traded a couple of those fellas 2 W12 for 3 OWA and both of us walked away feeling like we got the better deal.
I'm inclined to stick with the lower proof. I can enjoy just as much and feel better the next day
That's the weird thing, I can drink 1 or 2 beers or a glass of wine and I'll feel like crap the next morning. I can down 3 or 4 doubles neat, and hit my honey-do list the next day like nothing.
Got a bottle of Buffalo Trace and Pappy V in the company safe
It’s a **** good pour at $60. I would never pay more than $80 for that bottle
Always start with a lower proof pour and work your way up! if you start with higher proof (like Booker's), the rest won't taste as good.
Need to be careful. With so many choices, one risks paralysis by analysis.
Also, when in Canada for the holiday..
I haven't ever tried "ANGELs ENVY" or "B00KERS" before, how do they compare to Woodford?
Angels Envy & Woodford are okay. Nothing I would go out of my way to buy. Bookers is good with a random blah batch.
I had to go to Okinawa to get some Blantons. Can't find it anywhere here. I have a hookup over there. Came back with two bottles of the black label Japanese vintage. I guess there is a very strong following over there. $100 per bottle.
I'm not a big brown liquor guy (Gin is my go-to), but I do like this one. Pennington's Vanilla Rye from Nashville. I can only drink whisky if it's covered up. Old Fashions hit the spot.
BIg Fan of that. I brought a couple of bottles back from the DR earlier in the year.
That's very nice and very pricey on the secondary market. I have a hard time finding the regular stuff here as well, but it was abundant in the duty free shops of ATL and Dominican Rep for $150-$180 per bottle. I passed on it there.
I think AE if overpriced for what it is, but I am a fan of the Woodford Double Oaked.
