Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Anyone else do Mardi Gras?
Today starts the big Pensacola Mardi Gras parades. My Krew does all three parades, Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon out on the beach. Other than the Blue Angels in July, this is the biggest weekend of the year in Pensacola. These parades are nuts! By Sunday night you are absolutely beat and usually need the whole rest of the week to recover. The Sunday parade on the beach is my favorite. It's a short route followed by an EPIC party at The Sandshaker. And I mean EPIC!
Just curious if anyone else here is part of a Krewe and does parades.

Of course we do. Big parades thru Tuesday topping off with Biloxi parade 100+ floats. 3 parades in a row is too much like work......
Never have but I know it’s a blowout. Got some buddies that do the Mobile thing, didn’t realize Pensacola got in on the action too
Parade #1 down. That was the coldest Mardi Gras parade ever last night. Almost time to get ready for parade #2. Starts in about 8 hours.
Way back when I was young Savannah was the bomb. I used to stay with someone who played football for Georgia Southern. He was also a juvenile probation officer, so we got to ride in the government car and park wherever we wanted to. College teammate of his's family owned Spankys so we had an in there as well
Time for a bloody
Grew up in New Orleans.
Go, Dawgs!
Day 2 is in the books. Starting to feel a little tired. The Pensacola Beach parade starts in a few hours...
Here's my Krewe. That's not me in the gold, that's our Admiral. I'm somewhere in the middle back there.
Ditto, never got up early enough for Zulu, nor stayed late enough for Comus, though. Saw some things I can't unsee even decades later.
I've never done a NO Mardi Gras....that is pure insanity. Like next level stuff.
I think they just call that Mardi Gras.
Getting the party going on the Ms. Gulf Coast.....
Clearly that’s @Kasey in the gold there.
Day 3 over. Need about two days to recover. Man, saw so much boobs today... That beach parade was off the hook!
