You feel good about the hire?
yeah i do he's a good solid pitching coach i think he will do fine sadly though for my main man Sean Kenny i have already heard he may get the boot but tbh you cant blame him wanting to bring his own crew in
Cool, I was also wondering about your thoughts on the hire.
Has a very nice resume' including some time in the bigs as a pitching coach. I suspect he knows the SEC quite well. Might take a minute or so to learn all the things a HC needs to know, but I like his chances.
Have no idea if its a good hire or not.
But it should not be hard to field a championship caliber baseball team in a talent rich state like Georgia.
Especially with all the momentum the FB team has going now.
I think two of the main problems were:
Facilities
Out-of-state tuition (not sure why the U can't waive that for scholarship students (sports, music, physics etc)
