Hey @texdawg , was your boy close with that Arkansas recruit that died? Dion Stutts was his name. Tragic story :(

Very tragic story. Sounds like an awesome kid.

But my son didn’t know him.

He’s finishing his third week of school and football but never runs into any of the prospects or current recruits.

By I know the Dline Coach really well and he is taking this pretty hard

I agree, Arkansas has the Pitt Boss and now Tex’s boy!!! That’s two great reasons for me to pull for them when they aren’t playing the Dawgs. Go Hogs!!!

    And of course Go Dawgs!!!

Thank you. Pretty amazing how hard those players work. He gets to the facility early in the morning and doesn’t get home until late in the afternoon.

Thank you. I’m a lifelong Dawg fan and temporary Hog fan.

But have certainly enjoyed spending time in Fayetteville

Aren't there a max # of hours they can be involved in FB activities each week - or is that only during the regular academic year?

There is a max amount of time. But there are so many things in the schedule. Mandatory breakfast, mandatory study hall, meetings, weights.

Practice is very limited. Only on the football field 2 days a week. It’s really just a 7v7 practice. And led by the players.

Great post! Interesting info that we rarely hear about in following football.

Back in 1991, I spent 3 months working on a big IT project for WalMart in Bentonville. Flew into Fayetteville back then before the NW Regional airport existed. Always wished that I could’ve seen a Razorbacks game, but my project was in the springtime. Maybe one day!
