Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Tried to post this elsewhere and was told first line was too long.
Some may consider this sacrilege but the best SEC quarterback to ever wear the number 15 was from Alabama.
There will never be another Bart Starr and it's highly unlikely that any NFL quarterback will ever equal Starr's record for excellence and integrity.
Maybe. I don't like to characterize players or coaches into "Best of.___" categories. IMO...it's just not that simple.
Each one of the top 20 QB's have varied strengths...such as big arm, accurate, fast. powerful, vision, intelligence, leadership, etc.. It's hard to say which one, could play any style of offense "equal to or better than" the quarterback that originally excelled in that offense.
Lol...that being said...my money's on Fran Tarkington. I believe I could put Tark' in any style of offense, and he would excel. Same with Bennett. Shockley would be next. Then...Murray, Goff, Bobo, Greene, Robinson, Zeire,, Stafford, etc..
That's just based on my personal criteria and observation. They all align differently, depending on the criteria used to rank. Such as statistics, championships, wins, etc..
But I like Tark. Lol...I know I may have missed something...this was just a quick rank open to discussion.
