Tough series with the Cardinals so far. 6-1 after four innings in game 1 and 6-0 after three innings last night. We're scoring runs. 12 runs in the last two games. 21 hits. Trouble is:the Cardinals have 21 runs and 26 hits in those two games. Hard to come back when you dig such a big hole early in games.

Let's hope we can salvage a win tonight.

I have been recently disappointed in the Bravos record - then I realized, if they had been able to keep up their play of July and August, they would likely have been on pace to win 120-125 games. I think that might be impossible. I'm less disappointed now.

Yes, they could go .500 the rest of the way and still end up with a 104-58 record.

Pretty good position going into October!!!

8-5 win over the Cardinals. Braves hit five homeruns with Acuna blasting two more. That's crazy. Braves scored three more runs in the first setting a ml (?) Record for runs scored in the first inning.

No cheapies. Every homerun traveled atleast 400 feet. Plus two more up against the wall that the centerfielder made a great play on.

Pretty emotional night for Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright, a Georgia native. Pitching in his last major league game. Glad the Braves won, but suc.ks that Wainwright had to finish his career in that fashion.

In other games, the Dodgers beat Miami 10-0 ithat included a hard grounder past the first baseman that carried into foul territory. Ruled a fair ball and fielded by the ball boy who tossed what he thought was a souvenir into the stands. He was really surprised when the official pointed out "that was a live ball son".

    Pretty funny.

Let my fubo subscription expire and will go back to watching braves on MLB next day or when on national networks not blacked out.

Biggest issue with fubo was watching taped programs, if you can't say something nice don't say anything, mama said. Back to youtubetv.

The Braves are now 93-49 with 20 games left!

The Braves just clinched a playoff berth today…first to do so!

Their magic number is now 6 to win the division over the Phillies for the sixth time in a row!

And with the tie breaker, the magic number over the Dodgers is now 14 to clinch the best record in the NL!

With 20 games left, they could go .500 and finish with 103 wins!

    Pretty heady numbers!

Braves play four games at Philadelphia in three days, starting today with a double header.

With the magic number at six to clinch the sixth straight NL eastern division title, the Braves could wrap this thing up this series if they take three out of four!

    Go Braves!

Shame they likely won't do it at home, but it's coming soon on a TV near you.

They took an inordinate amount of champagne on that flight to Filadelf, it's nice to see that kind of confidence!

Magic number down to four! Can get it down to two!

    Kyle Wright pitching!

Second game of a double header!

    Doesn’t get any better!

    Go Braves!

That first game was crazy. Braves take a 2-0 lead, Phillies tie it 2-2. Braves take a 5-2 lead, Philly's close 5-4. Braves take an 8-4 lead, Phillies tie it up getting a 2-run hr in the seventh and a 2-run tying hr in the bottom of the ninth. And Braves finally taking a 2-run lead for good in the 10th to get the win.

What a crazy game. Phillies showed a lot of fight in that game coming back three times. Glad we captured the win.

Matt Olson just hit a 3-run homer in the top of the third for his MLB leading 49th home run!

Two more to tie the Braves franchise record of 51 with Andruw Jones!

    Go Braves!

Right I had mentioned earlier that he had hit his 49th earlier in the game.

What I also meant was one more to tie Andruw....of course two to break the tie.

    Go Braves!
