Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

No two games in Atlanta, two in Philly and one in Atlanta.
Win tomorrow, series tied then back to Atlanta for the deciding game!
But having the best wild card team in your bracket sux….they should have re-seeded after the wild card matches giving us the D-backs to play as a reward for finishing first!
No, you aren’t. The Braves Managers never require hustle to 1st. It’s leftover from the Bobby Cox way. And it contributes negatively to our playoff performances year after year. The Phillies are out for blood and the Braves are lucky to still be in the series.
I am baffled by this team. Our season ends tomorrow if they don't show up....no more excuses. We are better than this!! we clinched the division on their field last month. WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS.
In a sweep, no less!
Seems like a Bye in round 1 is the kiss of death. Only Astros will be through to LCS unless Braves turn it around and Astros were the last ones to get the Bye.
Not gonna down vote your comment, but there is another game tonight. The philthys gave it their all, including their fans. Would not expect the Braves to roll over from the "evil eye." The Braves pitching has to be better along with hitting with RISP.
It's gotta be difficult to grind for 162 then get told to take a break. It is part of the game, but if one team makes it past the bye, then no excuses for the rest. It's the schedule. As Bobby Cox used to say, "We play the schedule, period." **** it up and win some games Bravos!
We'll see if the Braves want it...
Everybody "Wants it," in every sport. Are you prepared to take it? Have you put in the work? Have you studied harder than your opponent? Have you watched enough film? The Braves have done all those things. They have not delivered on offense in this series. If they don't deliver tonight, all that work will be relegated to experience for next year. I'm going with delivery mode for tonight, then getting on a roll.
In a 5 game series the home team should host every game. There’s got to be a big benefit to being the best in 162 game season and a 1st round bye isn’t enough. In a 7 game series you go back to the normal split
I’m glad we have an 8:07 start tonight. For whatever reason the Braves play better at night
The questions Is "Are the Braves ready"
I don't see baseball as much of a "ready/want to" type sport. You can "want to" all you want but if a major league pitcher is "on" it is a tough row to hoe. Confidence is certainly important. Hitters can be in a "zone" as well, although the Braves hitting has been below normal for them. Good hitters hit "mistakes" by the pitcher, but, again, if he is "on', there won't be many mistakes.
We saw plenty of fat mistakes get hit last night. Man those pitches were rigt in the hitters zone.
Looked like batting practice or home run derby pitches.
