If Beck gets his long game dialed in, watch out! We have left a lot of points on the field because of over throws when a receiver was behind the defense for certain TDs. Having that extra split second with a healthy offensive line should help. This offense is as fun to watch as any we have had under Kirby!

Bobo haters have been very, very quiet. And there were lots on here. Fess up.

Anyone still hating the hire? Anyone still doubting Kirby's decisions and choices of coaches? Anyone still thinking their opinion was right and Kirby's was wrong?

Great job Mike "The Silencer" Bobo!

Bobo might be about to win a Natty in year ONE!

Mike Bobo? What was Kirby thinking? I will tell you what he was thinking: Lots and lots of YARDS AND POINTS!

    Regarding the commercials comments.

    yes they truly are horrible

we now start watching the game two hours after the start so we can fast forward through the commercials and idiot announcers.

it still takes close to two hours to watch the game.

you guys have to be sure to stay off the internet and your phone until you’re done.

The proof’s in the pudding, our offense is better in every category than any team in consideration for the playoff, and just barely behind LSU for the SEC’s best.

No if only the other 9,999 Bobo detractors will step up and admit they had no clue how the current offense would preform with CKS as head coach.

thanks for being humble. It’s appreciated.

When Bobo left UGA for Colorado he left some baggage with him. Let's don't rewrite the history books. THere were many(not just a few malcontents) UGA fans who scratched their heads a few times every game his first time around here. I will never forget Aaron Murray running down the field motioning to whoever was relaying the play or decision from up above(Bobo), Am I spiking it? Am I spiking it? And everyone thought he would and then he didn't and just like that the game was over.

All my family bleeds UGA football. THere was hardly a game back then that went by where when we got together to talk after a game where the topic of "What was Bobo thinking, didn't come up, usually something like this, why run twice up the middle for no gain when we had just been marching down the field, very creatively I might add, picking up yardage by the chunks only to suddenly out of the blue get very uncreative(conservative)in the play calling and have to kick a field goal. That was a real deal back then (regardless of how many points we averaged.)

I was not gungho so to speak about Bobo's OC hire this time, yeh I knew it was coming when Monken left, but as I thought more and more about it, I thought two things #1 I trust CKS, he's earned that trust has he not? and then #2 It's going to be really hard to mess this offense up. I saw how polished CB looked at the spring game and I just knew we had some serious weapons at receiver and TE.

Games aren't played on paper of course, but on paper I knew we had the talent to score 40+ a game no matter who was calling the plays. Now injuries are always something that has to be contended with in football and we have had our share in the receiving corps and at RB we have been so thin. Kudos to Bobo for dealing with all the injuries and still being a top ranked offense! He has still called a few headscratcher plays along the way, but I give him credit for doing a great job overall.

Never was a "hater", just wasn't sure he was the "best" hire given the new lofty heights UGA had achieved. He's won me over , now let's win this thing!

Not a Bobo hater, more of a Bobo disliker. That said, he called a helluva game last week. BUT he's got to continue to be aggressive and trust Beck. I'm thinking SB had more interceptions by this time last year? There is no reason Beck can't have 4 more 300-plus passing games this year.

Bobo "has to do" what HC Kirby Smart asks him to do, within the framework of the "gameplan"....as always.

You guys can lay a lot of crap at Bobo's feet....but, that doesn't mean he owns it. I thought Bobo did a fantastic job with UGA and Richt, the first time around.

IMO...If Richt had hired a competent Defensive Coordinator during the "Willie Martinez/Todd Grantham years"...UGA would've owned a couple of Natty's. Instead....Bobo was tasked with outscoring everybody they played, resulting in a couple of losses every season [except 2012].

You can't blame Richts failings on Mike Bobo. CMR and his cast of "Bend-Don't-Break" Defensive Coordinators are wholly responsible for the shortcomings of Bobo's tenure. However....fans being fans....only the offense was hyped, highlighted and critiqued. Cause...most fans and media personnel don't understand how defense works.

So, if a team loses..."it's because the offense didn't score enough or the Quarterback was inconsistent"...NOT...."because the defense couldn't stop the opponent and gave the offense consistently poor field position throughout the game".

I find it ironic that two of the top 10 teams in the CFP score so many points. But so do their opponents. Washington and Oregon have great offenses. Just not sure they can win a Natty with their defense. Especially Washington.

the SEC has long been known for its tough defenses.

and I agree those secondaries of the Grantham years were a little soft

of course CKS recruits for defense AND offense.
