Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I've been a dawg fan since I was 8 years old, 56 years. I've been a fan of Dawgnation for a good while now. Recently, I was on the chat during the show (DawgNation Chat, not YouTube or others). However I found expressing my views as a realist instead of pie in the shy pipe dreams was met with hostility. And then as someone blasted me for not supporting Alabama in lieu of Michigan, I guess I was labeled a turncoat. Sorry, but I don't have a loyalty to a conference, only to my Dawgs. I consider Alabama my mortal enemy (not literally of course). Any time Alabama is beat is perty time in my house. I was continually blasted to the point that eventually the discussion led to everyone asking that I be blocked, and even Brandon asked if someone could be blocked. Not because of profanity or slander, but just because of my view in this area. Noting that one person blasting me felt the same way towards Florida as I did towards Alabama. I thought we could discuss things openly and fairly without resulting in calling someone a troll or having them blocked just because maybe a majority doesn't agree with them. I'm not sure if I was blocked or not, but just the fact that it was called for and supported by the host of DawgNation has really left me searching for another Georgia Bulldogs site where I can hopefully post my views without being pummeled. Thank you and GO DAWGS!.
