Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I once scored 16 points in a quarter as a sophomore playing varsity basketball.

I hit a home run in men's slow pitch softball about a decade ago 😆
Ran an 8 minute mile in jeans junior year of high school.
Was the MVP of a turkey day football game in my mid 30s against a bunch of middle schoolers.
Tackled William Andrews a few times......got run over by him many times more than a few tho......
I finished 7th in the 7A state wrestling tournament and had a 12 second pin.
I also bench pressed 405 for a double back in my prime.
Many years ago at the Newark airport, I literarily ran into Herschel Walker. Didn't knock him over but at least slowed him down.
Had a mean fastball and slider. I struck out 104 guys in 51 1/3 innings in high school.
Could touch 90mph on a good day and that is more than enough at that level.
At some point my arm fell apart though and with it any chance at D1 ball.
He was a helluva player.
Third place in state 100 yard freestyle.
None
Currently still able to kick my daughter's arse in pickleball.
Whoever downvoted these accomplishments must have ridden the bench.
My CYO coach, Father Engberg, let me pitch in a game once. I was a catcher most of the time. I struck out the side in my one inning of pitching, using mainly a knuckle ball that I learned by listening/watching Phil Niekro and others on a black and white TV. We were from a small town of about 15,000 folks and were playing one of the better teams in SF. It was exciting. Not sure why I never got to pitch again.
I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Way back on my 65th birthday I benched my weight 225 , ten times. I survived every organized contact sport I ever played.... barely!
Garrison Hearst 'struck out' against me while playing intramural softball at UGA. Of course he hit the ball 300+ feet 3 times, but each was foul.
Rules are vague on how that is officially scored. I like to choose K.
