ESPN analyst offers warning about 2024 Georgia football road schedule
Georgia has gone 42-2 over the previous three seasons. It won two national championships in that time and the only losses have come against now-retired Nick Saban.

Considering our SOS, even with 2 losses, my bet is the Dawgs are in the playoffs. But, it will all depend on how the other top teams perform. I certainly don't expect us to go undefeated, and I honestly don't think being undefeated for any team is a very realistic possibility with the new conferences and expanded playoffs. However, on paper, Ohio State has got the best chance of running the table if any team does. Injuries may be the deciding factor in the end, and that's my biggest concern for the Dawgs. The wear and tear on the players in these tough road games will undoubtedly take a toil. Luckily, we have 2 bye weekends, and I suspect we will need them. Expect the unexpected this season, because I think it's going to be an interesting and exciting year for football.
Dawgs ain't losing two games. Everyone thinks Horns are gonna be all that. The defense in Austin is not what it was last year. The Dawg's D is not what it was last year either. more like 2022. 16-0 in 2024. bama gonna take the worst butt whippin in T-town in years. Can't wait.
As tempting as it may be to consider going down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole of the SEC office scheduling all of UGA’s hardest games on the road I won’t go there. I will point out however that with 14+ weeks to schedule a game they picked the Saturday of a 3 day weekend festival of the biggest Formula 1 race in the US taking place in Austin, Tx. , to schedule the UGA/Texas game. That area had been basically sold out for months before the schedule was announced if not longer. I called around the day after the announcement and the only room I could even find was in a 3* hotel for $1;600/ night three night minimum. I would assume that even Texas fans that have to travel some are not happy. So, do I think this was done to ensure UGA might not have it’s normal contingency of traveling fans, maybe but probably was due to complete incompetence at the SEC scheduling office.
Texas has a reputation for this. A few years ago, LSU visited Austin and Horns boosters bought up EVERY parking space in every visitor lot so LSU fans could not park. I didn't believe it when an LSU booster first told me, but I confirmed it with my UT-Austin niece.
Personally, I think that's poor sportsmanship, but they will do anything to win at Texas!
For me, it will always be 10-9 in Texas! Lol
i mean, UGA fans bought up Arizona state season tickets for one game back in 2008 and then wouldn’t resell them to fans so we can be a little petty too
If everything goes to plan...and the Dawgs can avoid the injury-bug...I believe this defense will be "equal to" or "better than", the 2021 defense by the time they reach mid-season.
With the Offensive Support the Dawgs are gonna have, this year...this defense could set records....IMO. Depends on how fast the 2 Top Freshmen DB's develop and provide much needed depth and flexibility. They will need them vs Texas & Bama, in particular.…IMO.
So....I guess we will see, what we shall see...very SOON!!...thank God.
Go git em Dawgs. Take all the mottos...."Better Never Rests"..."Revenge Tour"....and all the rest. **** em into a nice tight ball....and let them drive you into the season. You'll come out the other side...as Immortals. Good luck guys.
We are now into the spam cycle. I actually preferred treet.
