Oh the memories……"The Blitz from Bearitz", Richard Tardits…..I've never known a more violent Frenchman…..so bring on "Hanne The Hammer"……Berlinders are fearcer…..looks like The Dawgs will continue the tradition of No stars to 3 star first rounders!

Pretty sure Monsieur Tardits was from Biarritz, France. Bearitz is a high end Scottish Teddy Bear.

    Go Dogs.

With is his physical traits the young man has a chance to develop into a very good player.

The fact that he is "the 3rd interior DL commitment in this class" should concern people. Both Terry and Griffin are interior DL recruits. Does UGA take 5 interior DL commitments in this class?

Over the weekend both Terry and Griffith were scheduled to visit Athens. Did they both make it? Then the following day UGA takes a IDL commit from a 3* from Germany. Does not look good for UGA for Terry and Griffin.

If you're going to write about a kid at least show enough respect to not misspell his name. Hint: It's not Hanie, so you should know what to call the subject of your article. I'll overlook the other half a dozen typos.

Jeff, does this mean anything regarding the commitments of the two huge in-state guys we’re striving to get?

Welcome aboard! Four years from now, everyone will be raving about how T Scott and Kirby developed another 3 star into a Day one draft pick!

this kid will grow into a 5T.

changes nothing with Griffin and Terry

Yeah that's not what the article said. At 6'5" and 285 lb he is already a 5T sized DE like Mykel Williams. With A LOT of skills development and the expected physical growth of an 18 year old "tell me he’s a ‘3′ technique when it is all said and done that’s where I think he will be at."

    3T is an IDL.

Doesn't change anything about UGA's desire to add Terry and Griffin but is indicative of the securing of a plan B.

in your own mind. Article can say whatever the article says. That’s Travon Walker size. In our s&c he might change his body and still be that 5T we need.

Not seeing how this is bad news regarding Terry and Griffin.

According to the Jax roster Walker is 6'5" 271 lbs NOW. Hanne is already 20 lbs heavier than MWilliams. He will be 300 lbs when he is SEC ready to play in 2 years. W/2 stand up OLB's UGA is basically playing 3 DT's. As do most 3-4 teams. The DT (Jalen Carter) , the NT( Jordan Davis) and the 5T RDE (Travon) . Williams and Walker are both smaller and more athletic than Hanne (especially at 300 lbs). Both Walker and Williams look to be better pass rushers than Hanne. That translates more to the UGA DT position. Hanne could play some 5T DE …..in run situations. It is more logical for UGA to have smaller player with better pass rush athleticism at RDE. That has been UGA's history.

Hanne is bigger than Terry and the same size as Griffin (Rivals). Making Terry a more logical play at 5T RDE than Hanne.

As I said he has a chance to develop into a good football player. So I said his commitment is good news. You comment without reading comprehension. Where did I say it was "bad news"? A commitment that can be viewed as a "plan B" commitment IS a concern regarding space or likelihood of signing other players at the DL positions. Which is what I said.

It is a concern especially on the heels of a big recruiting weekend when both Terry and Griffin were scheduled to be in Athens. And not a peep about them. CFB is a play for pay business now. Terry and Griffin are top 10 (Rivals) recruits. There is a bidding war going on now and they are going to factor the money into whatever decision they make. Neither is a lock and logically UGA gets one.
