I hink they will. Seems like they have numerous guys throwing lights out throughout the farm system.
The Dodgers or Metz for sure.
Fried will be fine. He tends to gradually get back in rhythm when shutting down for a little bit. More concerned with the up & down of Morton and his age.
Ithink they will.
These minor injury issues with his forearm may end up being a blessing in disguise as he could end up being more affordable and not able to obtain the long-term contract that was originally forecast.
I'm wondering if the Braves will use the Patriot's approach and get rid of someone a bit earlier rather than a bit too late with Fried. He's had a lot of innings over the past few years…could be wearing down?
Believe Braves are not eager to go 5 or 6 years with a pitcher Fried's age.
GO BRAVES!!!!
Offense seems to have turned a corner finally!
I believe they will make Fried a decent offer, but the Metz will too it by a lot.
Having one our speed guys back helps more than a lot. Ozzie coming back net. If we can hold on to a wild card spot, we have chance.
"So you're saying there's a chance"?
Thanks. I was trying to work that in, but you took care of it!
Glad for the assist. And as I type this, the Braves have a 3-1 lead going into the bottom of the 8th inning.
Riley had to leave game with a hand injury after being hit by pitch (97 mph sinker) in 1st inning. Merrifield may have to switch to 3rd when Albies comes back if the injury is serious.
