Braves are finally hitting a stride not seen since April- won 9 of last 12!
All this after losing 6 in a row just before this stretch.
Well, Luke Jackson strikes again!
10-6. Nice win for the Braves versus the Twins. 13 hits, but a night of the haves vs. the have nots. Second baseman Merrifield was 5 for 5 and Matt Olson 3 for 5 with 5 rbi's, but outfielders Laureano and Kelenic a combined 0 for10.
Still, a big night for the Braves bats.
Laureano continues to swing a hot bat as he had a couple of tough luck outs or he's 2 for 5. Great game offensively for the Braves - about time!
Clutch hits? Two out rbi's? And, Luke Jackson did not strike again! He threw some though. Gotta believe we have a good chance at getting in the tournament now. Sean Murphy is the next Brave to get back into form now.
Big series starting tonight. This one will have a huge impact on our chances of winning the east. With only 30ish games left, it's a pretty tall task. However, IF we can manage to take 3 of 4, we would only be 3 back. A sweep (very unlikely) would put us just 1 game back. Just don't go up there and get your clocks cleaned, Braves!!! Can't afford to lose the series or god forbid, get swept. That could put our wild card spot in major jeopardy. Morton on the mound tonight, sure hope we get the good version of Charlie. Go Braves, and GO DAWGS!!!
Last night the Philthys played likethey were looking ahead to this evening. I sure hope they try to do too much against the Bravos!
Bravos up 4-0 in the 6th. Morton is dealing!!
I don't believe the Braves let that one slip away. The Phillies scored a combined five runs in the sixth and seventh innings to win 5-4.
Ouch.
Flush it, get a good night's sleep and get after them tomorrow. Great to see Olson looking good.
It'll be aight.
It amazes me, that they stay together and keep fighting for each other! That has to be Coach Snitker and player leadership!
3 players that equaled 26% of our run production are on the bench!
We just need to make it to the playoffs and maybe with majority of our players back and playing at full speed! I like our chances!
Tough L to swallow. Up 4-0 and lose 5-4. Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes I reckon. Go win tonight boys!!! Go Braves and GO DAWGS!!!
Here we go - not again, please. Bravos lead 4-1 in the bottom of the 5th. Hopefully they will hold on this time.
