Bottom of the 8th - Bravos up 7-2. Fingers crossed here in swamp land. A kind word for Orlando Arcia who has had a tough year, but over the Braves recent winning run he's been tough as nails. HR's and tons of great defense. Kudos to Orlando Ar-see ya - later.
We aight!
GO BRAVES!!!!
GO BRAVES!!!
Lopez now sporting a 2.00 ERA and earned his 8th win. Believe we've also won a host of other games he's had a no decision in order to conserve his innings pitched.
GO BRAVES!!!!
GO BRAVES!!!!
I think the team has done a great job of limiting his innings and giving him extra rest days as he transitions back to being a starter after years in the pen. How AA finds these guys is amazing. Other teams give up on some of them and they perform once they get here.
Considering the pretty big list of injured all star Braves that have all been OUT??? I am so proud of this 2024 version of the Atlanta Braves baseball team!!!! They have never given up!!!! FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!!
The Atlanta Braves - America’s team.
GO BRAVES!!!
Braves lost a tough one in 11 innings. Played Philly just about dead even this series and hardly ever trailed except toward the end of games. Swellenbacher was tough tonight so was the pen until the final inning. Got to keep hunkering down and save that final playoff spot.
The media ignores the fact that the Braves clinched the season series with them. Ozzie coming back before long. Kelenic Soler and Murphy are due for a hot stretch. We are far from out of this. Go Bravos!!
Sale was dealing tonight. 7 IP, 9K's, O (THAT IS ZERO) BB. He was like the Sale of old. Hopefully, that lights a spark and we can get on at least a mini-roll.
Still need Murphy to contribute.
yep. Having Murph get hot would be a huge bonus.
Another win by the Bravos. I like how different folks contribute most nights. Tonight Kekenick had a 3 run dinger. Morton was sound, his usual efficient self.
Kudos to the bullpen who were near perfect tonight. 4 IP - ZERO hits - 2 BB and 8K. Each of the 4 relievers struck out 2 in his inning of work.
Gotta keep rollin'.

Soler also driving in a key insurance run late!
They got hits with runners in scoring position. That's been their downfall all season. That pitching is nasty, I hope the offense gives them enough to make the post season.
