Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I am tired of the Monken & Bobo comparison. Monken had the benefit of the best defenses UGA has EVER had. If you don't like Bobo, that's fine, but to me you are comparing apples to oranges.
I'd like to rewatch the game before delving too deeply into what made the 1st quarter the weakest quarter of the game for the dogs, but my initial impression was dropped passes. I could be wrong about that.
Go, Dawgs!
We had 5 drives in the 1st qtr and I think they were all 3 and outs. Maybe one we got a 1st down. Don't remember exactly. It was just sloppy. Friends were texting me "what's going on with Georgia's offense???" Then Beck bulldozed a DB and it was game on!
Bobo called a great game last night and, for once, the players on our offense executed. Kudos to all involved! 😎
Excuses have been INSANE!!!!!!!
Uh this is Monkens offense with Bobo running it so comparisons are fair…..and last night Bobo did great…
Personally, I trust Kirby Smart’s judgment on OC more than some hack writer from USA Today.
maybe you should look up the difference between facts and excuses. Never mind you wouldn’t comprehend it any way.
You are right; it was dropped passes. The Dawgs could have probably scored on the first drive if not for a drop. It's not Bobo's fault but rather a result of multiple problems. The main culprit is the injury bug this year. Every position has seen multiple injuries causing a lot of missed time for starters on offense, defense, and special teams. Then younger less experienced players have to step into the game for baptism by fire.
Seems like we are at a place where we are just going to have to accept so many drops every game. It's not getting better. Limit the INTs and keep throwing. Kind of like how NBA teams are shooting so many 3-point shots now. Lower probability shot, but if you keep at it enough the points add up.
the coaching is clearly not working, I agree.
I’m the biggest Bobo hater but if we make the playoffs that game saved his job for one more season
Yep. Pass early and often.
I know what I think about the subject, and I know that doesn't mean a hill of beans beside what Kirby Smart thinks…I trust Kirby and his insight in to how Bobo is doing as OC. I firmly believe that Kirby doesn't play anyone that doesn't give us the best chance of winning , unless forced to by injuries or the game is decided. The same goes for keeping coaches that are not preforming .
It wasn't 40+ points but it was 31 (and coulda/shoulda been more) against a defense which was both statistically and in reality very good. I think he performed well. I assume he had a good week of practice since he was "allowed to start".
