I believe, by the playoff rules, that Clemson has to be seeded #12.

Stockton showed us that he's a leader. He put his body on the line with that run to the line and took one heck of a shot. That took balls. Guys around him respect that and will follow it. Stocton is the guy moving forward, unless, like you said, someone better emerges.

You got it almost exactly right except that they put SMU ahead of Clemson. I can see their argument for putting SMU in front of Clemson, but I don't think that makes sense when Clemson just beat SMU last night.

I thought they were going to put ND ahead of PSU but was pleasantly surprised that they didn't. Good on them for not penalizing PSU for the loss (relative to ND).

You're right. If the CFPC can't say that Clemson is better than SMU less than 24 hours after watching Clemson, actually "beat" SMU on the field....what the hell are we doin'?? That's just asinine.…IMO.

And, Texas? They were beaten twice by the same #2(~) UGA Team...in the same season. Why do they rate another possible shot at UGA? If they win that one....do they get to call themselves Champion? Because they won 1 out of 3? Lol....what kind of voodoo math is that?

IMO....Losing to one of the top 10-12 teams included in the CFP....twice in less than 10 games....should be a disqualifier.

Lol...I see, now....how UGA and FSU were left out, last year. Whatever it takes, to diversify. That has to stop...if we're going to value merit over identity, as Booger Mac was trying to say. I think.

That being said....it's hard to complain, when 12 teams have a shot. You're bound to get a Cinderella Champion, every once in awhile. The ball bounces funny, sometimes. A true Champion won't go down easy to a Cinderella. I see a lot of "UGA v TCU" & "Bama v Cincy" blowouts, in future Bowl games.

I don't know, if they're doing those "playoff cupcakes", any favors by showing...what until now, was only speculated. The SEC & BIG10 stand head and shoulders above everybody else. Moreover....Top Recruits are also gonna see the hopelessness of trying to compete with NFL Quality teams. I'm just sayin'.

Follow the money....and, the Championships. All roads, will soon lead back to Georgia. Especially, if Tech becomes a major player, again. I believe, a lot of the old guard programs, like Tech, are gonna get a much needed shot in the arm, from this new CFP Format & NIL/TP.

Top HS Talent should migrate back toward the SEC & BIG10. There's only so-much space to go around, in those Leagues every year and use of the TP has cut into the annual available spots [except Clemson]. I

MO....The parity in those 2 Leagues [SEC, BIG10] will be similar to the NFL. What then? Are we still gonna determine a Champion with a vote?. I don't think we're close to being done with change in the CFB Landscape.

    Go Dawgs!!!!!!
