Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

….tired of seeing Matthew McConaughey, Snoop Dogg, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Patrick Mahomes, etc. in every other commercial?
I am probably old school, but a paid celebrity doesn’t influence me to buy a product. I guess it works on some people.
ps: slow news day.

Yeah, I’m growing tired of it as well. I don’t mind at all celebrities such as them being in commercials, I just wish the quality of ad was better. I can remember many commercials featuring Peyton that at least had a great humorous aspect, but that hasn’t necessarily been the case for a while.
I forgot the two coaches: Saban & Sanders.
I like Saban's Vrbo commercials. It doesn't influence me but they make me chuckle.
And I have to say, not a slow news day out here in SoCal. I'm actually temporarily housing 2 dogs displaced by the fires.
Best wishes to you and your family/friends/neighbors during this terrible disaster. Can’t even imagine the destruction.
Prayers for you and all dealing with that awful situation. Props to you for lending a helping hand. Those little things add up to make a big difference in such times. 👍👍👍
As a 5-pet owner, I gotta say thanks @wpony714. Every little bit helps in situations like this. My sister-in-law’s birthday was Friday; to celebrate she set up a gofundme for a pet shelter in the area.
That VRBO commercial bothers me because they convinced Nick to lie about AirBNB. Thought he was better than that. Or maybe he’s just clueless.
or he just likes cashing checks
$$$$$$$ almost always trumps integrity.
Unfortunate but true.
Yep, even Saban puts on the clown makeup for a pay day. Deion never took his makeup off, so it's even more pathetic to watch Saban play third fiddle to fake duck alongside him.
AirBNB should file suit. Nick, take the stand! Lol
Bring back the Miller Lite commercials from the 80s. Those were the best commercials ever.
I highly doubt Saban knows/knew he was lying about AirBNB. That guy has never and never will pay to stay at someone else's property for vacation.
I have to say, I've lived here my whole life and pretty much always in a fire zone. We have fires nearby every single year and last September was pretty close, as we were on evacuation warning, but I have never seen anything of the magnitude of the current fires.
A-listers have taken the spotlight but there are far more regular, middle-class folks who have lost everything. The Eaton Fire is in Altadena which is a historic black neighborhood including black churches and black-owned businesses. People there bought when it was cheap and have lived there for decades, and all of it has been destroyed….homes, schools, churches, restaurants, salons, vets, grocery stores, gas stations. They don't have the money to re-build.
And all this after one of my favorite places in Georgia, Clark's Hill Lake, was decimated by Helene. I don't know when I'll see it again but I know it won't look the same. That's sad.
