Does reloaded Georgia have enough impact players to make title run?

Among those who transferred out were projected first-round NFL draft talent Carson Beck, at quarterback, and former five-star recruit and rising edge talent Damon Wilson.

Does Georgia have the Offensive and Defensive line to make a title run?
@jdatl3 That is a key, it would seem, along with QB play
need our OTs to grow up.
Need Elijah Griffin to be as advertised
@Kasey I think Griffin is a great player and will bring it, but you are right the offensive tackles will be pivotal to the team's success and have to protect whoever is back there!
If everyone's healthy, and so many have at least a year under their belt, I say maybe. Problem is two deep has little experience. Skill players can get there quicker, and UGA picked up enough of them. The beef and muscle takes years.
Could it happen? Of course! However, Lot's of thing have to go just right, and at the right moments. Is it probable we win it all? Just as probable as most other teams, but even then, its a crap shoot. I think about 10 teams could win the NAtty this year, UGA in that mix. So, a 10% chance? I called the 2021 Natty early on. Not calling this year. Hopefully, I'll be presently surprised.
@reddawg1 Understandable
Honestly, I'd say we are a long shot. A very long shot. There are just too many unanswered questions and this is a very untested and young team. Not only that, you've got (22) starting players that have to gel and come together. This is as much a team sport as any out there and a very mental sport. And we've got many holes to fill. And even though we have our toughest games at HOME, our schedule is certainly pretty difficult.
Will the OL be good enough to protect Stockton and open up holes for Frazier and whomever?
Who will emerge as the other consistently good RB?
Will Stockton shine or struggle?
Will the WRs and TEs get separation, catch the ball, and be able to effectively block?
Will the DL be able to effectively stop or slow down the running game and create a decent pass rush?
Will the IOLs be able to contain the EDGE?
The talent is mostly there.
Last year I think we had the players on both sides of the ball to make a serious Championship run, but between an uncharacteristic performance by Beck, too many key injuries, too many dropped passes, and too much sloppiness in execution, we just couldn't make it. Last season was a disappointment with the talent that we had.
Going into this season, I'll be very disappointed if we do not at least make the playoffs, but beyond that, I think the odds of us making it to the National Championship game are 30-40% chance at best. But, hey, I'm certainly ready to be WRONG! Maybe this team turns out to be one of the best in the history of the Dawgs!
All I can say and based on history since he’s been here. Never underestimate a Kirby Smart coached team. This team was pushed in spring practice I believe the hardest in his tenure, especially the freshmen. I expect that will continue through all practices preseason and in season .
Yes young but very talented over all. No law that says young teams can’t win at high levels. Never underestimate a Kirby Smart coached team. We’ll see……
