I’m looking at the glass as half full rather than half empty. Gunner has the signs of a Winner in my book. But as has been stated over and over it Really does hinge on the O Line. If they perform well and Consistently I Believe in Gunner. If not then might be a very disappointing season.

And I don’t necessarily buy into all the “ look at all we lost to the NFL” narrative. What if those guys were great as individuals but the Unit chemistry wasn’t there ? Conversely what if This O Line has much better chemistry as a Unit ? Isn’t it feasible to Believe they could perform as good if not better ?

I have no explanation for Why but Yall saw the games last year. The O Line for what ever reasons was Very Inconsistent. They stunk vs ND. I’m sorry but they did. Course WRs were of little help in that game to. Kirby seems pretty happy and impressed with the WRs going in for this year. He’s bragged on them. But he hasn’t that I know of bragged on the O Line so that makes me sort of nervous.

But there’s still time for them And Gunner to get better. Until I see Gunner make mistakes on a regular basis, Especially the Same mistake I’m gonna believe in him. And I’m gonna extend that Belief to the whole team. To me it’s a Good thing that the majority of “experts” are nay saying our Dawgs. No one can Coach chip on the shoulder like Kirby !! By the time the season starts he’ll have them being Rabid Dawgs !!

"Conversely what if This O Line has much better chemistry as a Unit ? Isn’t it feasible to Believe they could perform as good if not better ?"……navydawg, you have made the the observation that will carry the 25 Dawgs into the playoffs! The current O-Line has potentially better tallent than last year but the glue that will solidify the group is the leadership provided by Gunner. With every game played, we will see improvement, particularly in the area of "Team" play….rather than having to hope one individual can save the day, The Dawgs will be playing as a TEAM with players supporting each other to achieve the goal of winning…..Eastmandawg, loved your comparison of Gunner to Farve…..Gunner, IMO, will prove to be much better/more consistent than SBIII and processes a much stronger will to win….Gunner is also playing with another "motivator"….unlike last year, where QB screw ups didn't get you pulled….Gunner knows there is a guy that is just as good/sans experience that only need one opportunity…..I'm sure Kirby has learned that lesson too.

He certainly has the physical attributes that remind me of Farve. Thought that when I first saw him in HS.

He’s just got to develop, hopefully more experience will help him do that. Very high on Gunner - thinks he is a natural leader and the team will feed off that imo. Saw some of that the second half of the Texas game.
