Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Sunday May 18 - I’m sitting here in Santiago’s cathedral square, endpoint of the Camino, waiting on my wife to arrive when Sean Dietrich walks in! Pretty cool!
@CantonDawg I just went to congratulate Sean; he asked ME for a hug and a selfie! Super nice guy.
My wife completed her trek through rain, sleet, snow and wind from 189 kilometers east on the French Camino route today. It was an emotional reunion in cathedral square.
I read his stuff every morning! Keep sending us updates!
May 19 - I took a bus ride today out to the northern coastal town of Muxia, once thought to be where the world ended before the Americas were discovered by Europeans. Many ancient pilgrims who trekked to Santiago would extend their walk to see the ocean (about a 2-3 day hike depending on where you head). I’m sitting on these boulders contemplating the whole experience.
Incidentally, I haven’t yet boarded an airplane. We began April 19 in St Augustine by taking a taxi to Port Canaveral, where we took a transatlantic cruise to Barcelona. Then by train across Spain to our trail heads. More reflection to come.
That's a good formula - no planes = no crashes (and nobody trying to open a door while in flight or putting his/her knees into the back of your chair etc. etc.)
May 20 - sunset at world’s end, Muxia, Spain 🇪🇸
As I reflect on my Camino experience, I’ve decided to leave behind the rock of doubt, which is heavy, rough and burdensome. In its place I will take back with me the stone of faith and fully trust God with all things.
Thanks for allowing me to share some of this journey with you, my fellow Dawg fans.
Ran across this cafe yesterday in Santiago de Compostela and thought of your post!
Bless you, Turk Dawg!!
Here’s my wife reflecting in cathedral square. She trekked 189 kilometers through all kinds of weather. Note her stamped pilgrim’s passport in the foreground.
