If we were playing 5 card stud….knowing you got 8 aces…..no matter who's the down card……you know you got an ACE and can't be beat! That's has got to make oppositional secondarys "squirrely"…….if the O-Line bust some gaps…..the RB room will run away with the yardage stats!
sounds great. got to have time to throw it to them and a ground game to complement.
Colbie Young is way to low and also has a year on all the new guys, I think you are forgetting how good he really is.
Yep. My pick to. I honestly don’t know who will end up with the most yards. But Young will be coming in with the proverbial boulder on the shoulder to prove himself !! Our Dawgs just seem to play better when they view themselves as underdogs with something to prove. Off topic just a smidge I’m hoping our O Line will play angry and mean, Not lack of discipline, just peed off wanting to Show they belong in the Elite column. I just have a feeling this team is gonna prove allot of naysayers Wrong !! Go Dawgs !!
I'm with you guys, Colbie Young has huge upside. Having Branch and those tight ends running loose only helps matters for him.
I'm going with Humphreys and I don't feel that selection is a stretch at all. He is a very intelligent and speedy/shifty receiver that had only played receiver for 2 seasons (1 in HS at CPA in Nashville and 1 at Vandy) prior to coming to Georgia. He never really was taught how to run routes, etc given his top end speed and he was basically used as a post/flag type receiver. If he can stay healthy, I believe he will emerge as a stud. Great overview and agree that all have the potential to break out. Go DAWGS!
will also help if he can start hanging on to the ball
Thomas is a taller, faster, more SEC experienced version of Young. Bell is a solid veteran. Experienced in the SEC and w/the UGA O who has been working w/GS for years. Depending on how the RB position shakes out , Bell could also be catching passes out of the backfield. For the UGA O to fire on all cylinders it needs production from the TE position. More emphasis will be made to get the receiving TE the ball. That is Luckie. Branch did not come to UGA to be a decoy. He is a weapon in the slot and expects to see targets. Young is more of a 3rd down and red zone guy. Humphries seems like a 1 trick pony (fly). Delp needs to build his catching confidence to be rewarded with targets.
